CHETNA
has successfully initiated many approaches where the traditional
communication methods are used to enhance contemporary learning. Some of
these efforts have been documented in this CD. It includes the innovative
approaches followed by CHETNA among children and women. Gram Yatra (Village Rally): To ensure active participation and involvement of community members in an iniitative to impart health education. This strategy has been an effective way of creating community awareness. Balmela (Children’s Fair): An innovative and effective strategy used to impart health education to a large group of children. The film showcases how children can be involved in such programmes and be motivated to protect and promote health. Women and Health (WAH!): To develop capacities of middle level health managers of NGOs and GOs from a gender sensitive and comprehensive perspective. Integration of traditional health and healing practices is the strength of this programme. The film serves as an effective training/reference material for educators, trainers, teachers, communicators and individuals. English, Hindi and Gujarati Rs.300/- Total Duration: 30 minutes |
