UDAAN has been developed by CHETNA based on its experience of working with Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan (NYKS) in Mehsana District of Gujarat State.The module has been field tested by and with young educators of National Service Volunteers.The module provides an unique opportunity to young people to reflect on their views about self learning, their relationships with their family and partners and receive updated technical information about the Reproductive and Sexual Health (RSH) aspects.

Uniqueness of the module:

The module is useful for adolescents and young people in and out of schools, trainers, peer educators, programme planners, policy makers, implementers of the youth programmes in GOs, NGOs, CBOs such as Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, National Service Scheme, National Cadet Corp, Scouts and Guides for integrating the RSH education in health, education and developmental programmes.
