In-charge for Change: This resource package contains case exemplars on
field experiences with children who have diverse needs and backgrounds.
The case studies highlight various methods and approaches implemented by
field organisations, such as children’s rights-particularly the Right to
Participation. The exemplars describe the ‘how’ and ‘why’ of active
participation of children in development; the challenges faced and the
lessons learnt. The package also includes an advocacy paper that
explores various aspects of Children In-charge for Change. The aim of presenting a case study on each approach is to enable the users to adapt the experience in planning, implementing and evaluating similar interventions on their own. This resource package will be useful for Government Organisations, specially those Ministries and Departments who are concerned with children’s issues; Non Government Organisations working directly with children and/or advocating for children’s rights; education and training institutes, international and national donor agencies, social scientists and academicians.
