Gram Yatra: CHETNA’s experiences of utilizing the concept of yatra, or pilgrimage which means a journey for a noble cause, to ensure active participation and involvement of community members in the process of imparting health education. This strategy was found to be an effective way of creating community awareness. The booklet highlights field-tested activities to make such programmes more effective and interesting.
