CHETNA is looking for a “Project Field Coordinator ” for our Khusali Sehat project  ‘’ Improving the first 1000 days of life ‘’

Role: The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation, training, coordination, mentoring, and documentation of field activities for our assigned project. This role requires a strong background in project management, training, and field operations, along with exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Number of Positions: 01 (one )

Location:  Bharuch Jhagadia Block Gujarat

Knowledge required: Basic knowledge in nutrition, maternal and child health, and highlights the advantage of trainer skills:

Educational Qualifications: Postgraduate degree in Nutrition, Public Health, Social Work and Equivalent . Minimum 5 years’ experience is mandatory

Skills required: Communication, mentoring team, coordination, observation, training, project activities planning, execution, monitoring and documentation.

Experience:  5  to  6  years of field experience and a good understanding of issues related to Nutrition, Maternal and Child health.

Language: Fluency in oral and written Gujarati  language, working knowledge of basic English will be an additional benefit.

Travel: Willingness to travel extensively in the Field Areas in Bharuch Jhagadia.

Centre for Health, Education, Training and Nutrition Awareness (CHETNA) is providing a wonderful opportunity to work for gender equality and women’s empowerment in Rajasthan. CHETNA has initiated a project to ‘   Initiative to strengthen   SMART – Model Aanganwadi Centres in three (3) Districts of Gujarat in 48 Anganwadi centres of Gandhinagar, Devhumi Dwarka and Narmada districts .

CHETNA invites applications from interested individuals for the post of Project  coordinator.

Qualification:

Project coordinator: The candidate should hold a postgraduate degree in Education, Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, Social Work, or Nutrition. A strong understanding of health, community mobilization, and facilitation skills is essential. The role requires excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written, in Gujarati, Hindi, and English. Working knowledge of MS Office is required. The ideal candidate should be self-driven, highly motivated, and the ability to work effectively within a team. Candidates must have 3 to 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in Early Childhood Education. The position also requires willingness to travel extensively.
